New Paddington book in almost 30 years published
The yellow-hat-wearing, marmalade-loving, well-mannered bear named Paddington is returning to the literary scene in his first full-length book since 1979.
Paddington Here and Now will be updated slightly to reflect the changes made in the world since the late ’70s, yet most of its hallmarks will remain. The Browns will have the same personalities and characteristics, the children will still be children and Paddington himself will be wearing his traditional yellow hat, blue duffel coat and Wellington boots.
The new book is published by HarperCollins, the same company that has published all Paddington books, and will be released May 27. For the many people that grew up reading Paddington books or watching Paddington cartoons (he was certainly one of my favourites), this will be a book to keep an eye out for!
