This one-day festival is held across various venues, featuring both international and local authors, including Deborah Rodriquez, Ron Hansen and Missouri’s first official poet laureate, Walter Bargen. The festival combines a diverse selection of genres and workshops. Festival events are happening throughout that week as well.
Philadelphia Book Festival

Barbara Walters and Bernadette Peters are two of over 60 authors featured in this festival hosted by the Free Library of Philadelphia. It also offers events for children and a street fair including exhibitions by publishers, booksellers and independent authors.
BookExpo America

Los Angeles, CA
BookExpo America, or BEA, is for people who love books. It features autographing sessions with over 500 authors, educational sessions and more than 2,000 exhibitors.
